Real tech discussion on design, fabrication, testing, development of custom or adapted parts for Pontiac Fieros. Not questions about the power a CAI will give.
For use with rod ends as spacers to increase the unit's angular capability. This has potential use when orienting a rod end correctly so that the thrust axis is through the shank, while the plane of suspension motion is through the shank and the bolt.

EDIT: These will be too loose pressed into a 2" tube. FieroGuru explained that he had to utilize a 1.75" 16g cut exhaust tube to use as a sleeve to take up the slack. When he utilized these for his engine mounts.

Watch out for packaging... IIRC, the pockets on the cradle are too narrow for them. That's why I still have conventional rod ends on my '88.
Why wouldn't the 40mm rod ends work? I just measured the pockets on my spare 88 cradle and they're 45mm... am I missing something?
Nuts and bolts, bulk, in bins. Admittedly, this stuff isn't hard to find, but, buying in this format could help prevent many trips to and from the hardware store...

I may have been thinking of the Mercedes/Lemforder joint that I've also looked at.
Dude is *WAY* too obsessive for his own good, but has some nifty moments.

Here's my fix. Of course you can just connect up the BMW replacement wires, but then you're left with just green wires and no way to tell which is which. My solution was to order the colored tabs in the picture below, along with clear heat shrink wrap.
I cut sections of the color labels corresponding to the OEM wire color, wrapped them around the end of the wire, then used the clear heat shrink to encase it, so that whenever I need to know which wire is which, its right there
Also, I switched to these instead of soldering or using crimp connectors. These things are awesome.
