Comprende?

SEMA! Sweet! Problem is, my event is the weekend of the coast run, so I have to make sure I have one in advance and if you didnt find one I'd not have time to order and ship. Thanks for the offer though! Is SEMA the first weekend in Nov? If so I maaaayyy see you there. My machinist said I could go with him but I have to talk to him when I'm back home to see whats up.stimpy wrote:Hey Steven, did you hear that I'm going to SEMA at the beginning of Nov? If you trust me to look for a helmet for you there I could see if they have any deals.

Just wanted to bump this as I will be needing a helmet by the end of August for the Driving Clinic at Buttonwillow Raceway. Any new suggestions? I'll need it for this and future road course days as well as drag.

I have a G-Force G750 open-face helmet. I have no complaints and it's one of the cheaper ones out there.Unsafe At Any Speed wrote:Just wanted to bump this as I will be needing a helmet by the end of August for the Driving Clinic at Buttonwillow Raceway. I'm a big fan of open face helmets. I get a little claustrophobic in full helmets so it was a pretty easy choice for me.

Re: Race Helmet
Well, I finally picked one up. Went with the Simpson Bandit. SA2005 full-faced. It even came with a bag, so that was cool.

Re: Race Helmet
Yeah, I paid a little extra for one I thought that looked cool.
I have a smoked shield coming for it as well. Should be here by this weekend. A lot better than trying to wear sunglasses under the helmet. Should look cool too.
