Okay. Sorry. I must have had a brain cramp. I was at work when I typed my post. Maybe I closed the window to do something else. (Things can get really frantic, really quickly.) The gist of it was that I've never heard of a Fairlady Z. Wondered about that and the significance of RHD. Stimpy posted &q...

So... It's okay to commit a felony if you can get away with it?Aaron wrote: ...Stimpy, as far as the law can see, I have never committed a felony...
Did I miss something here?
Or does that only apply to cops? Or just to you?
How do you decide which felonies are okay? And which are, ummm... over the line?

Using that Formula, I would need 21# injectores to make 200 HP with a V6. As it is, even 19s are too big for most 3.4s without pulling out a lot of fuel. Earlier, using the 2p8 w/15# injectors as a base for the calculations, I figured that 17s would be just a bit too small, but 19s would be a bit to...

I also had to dent my crossover where the shift cable comes across, then wrap it with header tape, in order to stop the cable from getting cooked. Seems to work okay so far, but it looks pretty ghetto-fied. I don't know how well the Trueleos clear the manual tranny linkage, but that, by itself, wou...

probably go witht he focoas - v-band clamps are sooooooo much easier to deal with and will make for replacing the y-pipe with a turbo y-pipe 10 times easier I've got FOCOAs. The flanges for the Y-pipe are just flat surfaces butted together with the V-band clamps holding them together. There's no in...

Several of the theories concerned blanks made by CWC (which mine is) being of inferior metal and another theory that Crane lifters were made of Chinese steel, and inferior to how they used to be. CWC is the foundry that made the factory Northstar cams and a WHOLE LOT of other stuff for GM. I think ...

All the lifters are run of the mill. its 25 year old technology. They stamp them out hundreds at a time. I dont' know of a high performance 60 degree lifter made by crane, so yea I guess run of the mill too, which they all are anyways. If you think about it though there isn't much to a lifter. I am...

Original GM lifters would be ok. But just an FYI, Crane makes the lifters for GM. Even the stock run-of-the-mill lifters? I've heard horror stories about Crane lifters. One of the local engine builders (same guy who ported my heads) said that he uses GM lifters in all his builds. I was considering ...

If you don't care about the clutch interlock, grab a manual tranny engine harness. You will have to move only one wire (I believe it's the large yellow wire) in the *car* side of the C500 connector. (You can move the wire in the engine harness side of the C500, but if you ever forget about moving th...

They're 57.1. I remember this because the freaking wheels I finally found in the widths/offsets I wanted only came with the Subaru center bore, which was 56.1. I was thinking that I could gain the extra 1 mm with a flap wheel chucked into an electric drill or die grinder. Fortunately, I found ...
