The firewall is a single layer, except down near the bottom -approximately the last foot. It actually forms a sort of tunnel across the bottom. The right side is empty, but the left side has the fuel filler tube and a vent line (I think) in it. Check this link... http://www.fierosound.com/stereo.htm...

Good luck with Mopardom. Hopefully I'll be joining you in a couple of years. Not like I can actually afford a new Challenger, but it's something to aspire (perspire?) to. I've had a couple of early 70s Barracudas. Complete shitpiles (when your late teens and would rather get high or laid, it's hard ...

<snip> Face it, you're alone in your fights. You come off as abrasive and insulting. You have shitty personal skills (and that's Mr. Loudmouth ADD Dude saying it)... You aren't winning your arguments, because people aren't going to stop and think about it, they are just going to IGNORE you. You are...

I diddnt ASSume, I checked at napa, and all the modules thay sold for the fiero and other cars came with the clear silicone stuff. If you know of a suplier that sells the modules with heat sink compound please share the name and manufacturer. The clear stuff can work. It's used in lots of electroni...

I'll be really surprised if they come out with more than two V8 options. I'm betting on an economy motor of some sort (the 4.2 Vortec I6 will surprise me, but it's a beast in our Trailblazer, so it could happen.) Maybe a base V8 (5.3 with DOD sounds reasonable) and a Grand Mamooo 6.3 for the SS. It ...

Oh, that's right, you're fine with the 86 that your wife paid for. Enjoy that shitty excuse for a suspension. So you needed to redo your entire suspension for it to outdo mine. Nice. It just boggles my mind that people aren't beating your door down to buy this car, solely for the experience of doin...

I haven't heard good things about the Intrepid V6. (Think it was the H.O.) Something about tiny oil passages that become blocked if the oil isn't changed like clockwork. The Dark Side of Will wrote:I haven't heard good things about those longitudinal Chrysler transmissions.
Could be wrong on which engine, though.

I get ~20 with my 3.4/automatic. Best ever was ~23. I hope the Getrag transplant will help, but the heads and cam may offset it a bit. At least until the novelty wears off. The 4p9/4T60E also gets ~20, but the novelty still hasn't worn off of that one, either. I still stand on it with impunity. Just...
