Re: Darkhorizon + a budget more than a hamburger =
I think you'll run a lot slower than that, maybe a 12.7 @ 84mph.

Roll Cages
I don't know much about fabricating them, so bare with me. Would there be any negative consequences of building a 6-point cage into the spaceframe? By that, I mean the front two points would mount near the front corners of the cabin as usual, but the tubes would run up along the A-pillar and roof ex...

Re: California Dreaming-CARB exempt swaps
At any rate, who cares? The point is that the L98 came with a manual. But... Who cares about that when the LLT comes with a manual?

Re: turbo 3100
That turbo is too small even for the 2-liter it came off of, let alone the 3100.

Re: Tilton Clutch
Lunesta makes this thread fuzzy. Will has obviously done most of the research, but I don't understand a lot of it right now. Actually, I'm sleeping with my eyes open. Anyway, I need to do this. It sounds like the ticket for my turbo "3200" destroker build. For now the Clutchnet "400hp...

Re: 2011 Camaro 3.6 is 312 HP
And tonal quality, like aesthetics, is purely subjective, but most honest car guys would say that this sounds pretty nice. (I'm still trying to convince my wife that I need a $1200 exhaust for my brand new car) I mainly speak of 0:23-0:30 in this video, and not the rest of the video that shows how w...

Re: 2011 Camaro 3.6 is 312 HP
I guess I'm a bit behind on this, but stereotypes can kiss my butt. I like my 2010 V6 Camaro. It's a comfortable, composed, torquey, fun, and damn good looking (IMO) daily driver. It has more get up than anyone needs, and sounds great at 7000rpm full tilt. It weighs (a bit) less than the SS (though ...

The same, except in all CAPS like I entered it when I registered here! (It's the 7-letter license plate version of All Turbo)

Oh don't worry, I'm not offended. To each his own? :D I'm working on "fixing" that car. ;) Cinci, all I see in your post is the word "Image". This is much more my style... 8) http://myfiero.com/uploads/21537_.jpg http://myfiero.com/uploads/21538_.jpg Those ^^^ are the same wheels...

Re: God bless America
I'm pretty sure I can swap to the Brembo setup with all the parts, but the V6 outbrakes the SS even without them. At least once, haha. It's just my daily driver and I like the lower unsprung weight, so I'll leave them as is. Canada is in America, too. If I was referring to us only, I'd say &q...

Re: God bless America
Thanks for the props. Giant heavy wheels are teh suck, I swapped the original RS 20's for these light IROC-Z styled stock 18's. I saved 49 lbs of unsprung weight all around, and the car is definitely lighter on its feet, and it rides better. 22's!? No thanks. :) I like this shot too... http://myfier...

Re: FS: Two Talon TSi AWD's, one of them runs 11's.
Here are snippets of a recent PM to a highly interested party in VA on another forum... I need to get some time to come up with a list of what needs to be done to the Talon, there are lots of little things. The main thing, though, is that I'm pretty sure I blew up the center differential in the TRE ...

Re: FS: Two Talon TSi AWD's, one of them runs 11's.
No, the center differential in the transmission. I'm pretty sure anyway, it has the exact symptoms but I haven't opened it up. Lemme get back to you on the rest of the stuff, I have a hundred things I need to get done right now. It's just a lot of little stuff that adds up. Right before the center d...

Re: FS: Two Talon TSi AWD's, one of them runs 11's.
Bumperoo Buy the '96 and strip it clean of everything it doesn't need to be a badarse strip and track car, and give it a cheap but fancy looking paint job. It'll be lighter than a Fiero GT and I guarantee you'll have more fun that a barrel of monkeys. (And trust me... barrels of monkeys are pretty d...

Thanks for the info. I was pretty sure they weren't, but good to have a confirmation, much appreciated.
Thanks anyway, CincinnatiFiero, that would have been great.

The '96 runs. I drove it the other day, it just needs lots of work. I left it on low boost (12 psi, weak sauce), and with that it'll still smoke a 3.4 DOHC Fiero.CincinnatiFiero wrote:Non running dsms nothing new to see here.

WTB: '88 Parking brake caliper bracket set
I've never seen what they look like, but apparently they exist to hold the parking brake cables onto the calipers, and I need them ASAP.
Thanks.
Thanks.
