1990 twin-turbo 350 6-speed IROC-Z

Well it was my dream car for years, but then I discovered the blank-slate potential of Fieros, and I need money, time, and space for my up and coming MIDTRBO, a 'twin-turbo V8 Camaro' killer in every way. More importantly, I need to lessen my project load, as I have chronic health problems that are ...

Re: Q about 282 combo..

Wow, that's quite a first to second RPM drop, I don't like it. The (relatively) huge turbo will take a long time to re-spool, and I won't have the 1.6 60' traction advantage like the Talon to make good use of the short first. Then again, this engine has morphed from a low RPM T25 torquey wheezer to ...

Re: Q about 282 combo..

Hrm, interesting. Will, if Dave is correct, the tranny you sold me is from a '90 Grand Prix (3.1). I don't know what numbers he ran to get that, but that's what he told me. That would mean that I have a shorter first, second, and fourth than a Fiero Getrag. Are third and fifth the same? I'll have to...

Will, I already have an extra 1G TB to try (haven't yet), in fact I think I got it from him. :rotflmao:

No more stuff, I need to get rid of some myself! :D Anyone want a Fiero or two? (seriously)

Good luck with the pile-o-DSM sale.

Alright, the car is broken again, left me stranded and won't start, had to get towed home. While waiting in the middle of the road with the hazards on, the flasher unit under the passenger side dash started to smoke as it was melting the plastic it was mounted in, but I turned the hazards off and go...

The black car's fan works now. It was a combination of a disconnected relay due to a broken connector tab and a moron of a previous owner using a loosely placed piece of ratted out jumper wire to replace the fan fuse. 3 zip ties and a 20 amp fuse later and it's as good as .... used! My previous post...

The silver '87 is sold. Plans now are to get any '88 with a decent chassis/suspension/interior and swap over the rest from the '86.

I'll still trade for the right truck (I still need one) or sell for the right price, but I do want an '88 GT or an '88 "GT" for sure.

SMT doesn't make it work better, it only makes it cooler.
The lack of IC's and components in general makes a lot more difference.

I haven't read about it but it sounds pretty awesome.

Dood, sweet. Andrei Tig welded my TT IROC's aluminum IC pipes for me when I was still in OK, and that's where I got the car N/A baseline dyno'd. They do good work. What's his email? I lost it but told him I'd send some pics when the TT setup was installed. If you mention the car and that I also have...

Two Fiero GT's for sale/trade (lots of pics)

I 'may' be working out a trade for the silver one to get an '88 T-top car, but nothing's been decided yet. I want to trade or sell in whole or in part one or both for any and/or all of the following: -An AWD wagon or small SUV with less than 100k miles in good shape, 95ish or newer (need to get litt...

1.0 3 cyl turbo FTW! LOL... "I don't know exactly, but with the addition of one of thse heads (n/a), an otherwise stock Metro has run 17's in the quarter. It make the car feel like a 4cyl. I doubt that I will do any dyno testing, but I may use the G-tech to find a horsepower improvement percent...

Dunno where in OK you are, but in the OKC area all the Sinclair's seem to sell 93 octane, maybe they do where you're at? I wouldn't have thought 2 points would make a lot of difference, then I had to go from 93 to 91 in my Talon (before E85!). Night and day. .040 too small? LOL, I have my Camaro's g...
