Nah, my plenum works now, my dad traded me the alum dizzy cover from his 'vette, and LT1 TB's aren't direct replacement for TPI's (I have an extra '89 TB anyway). Thanks though.
Would you happen to have some black front speaker covers?

:rotflmao: YOU MIGHT HAVE TOO MUCH HORSEPOWER IF ... 1. The emissions test guy starts laughing as soon as you pull onto the rollers. 2. You can't drive your car in the rain. 3. Your 'significant other' is afraid to drive your car. 4. You are afraid to drive your car. 5. You spend more on tires than ...

Thanks, and here's the build thread on TGO that I started a long time ago (if you really like to read... I'm definitely a 'details' kinda guy). http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/power-adder/301871-project-twntrbo-updates.html Yeah, I'm on the east coast again, in MD. If you're ever out this way I'll...

Okay, getting rid of A/C does clear up a lot of space. I suppose if you run the IC's along the fenderwells (fore and aft, depending on turbo placement) or if slim fans clear up enough space then you run them along the radiator, it may be easier to plumb two than one. As for cooling efficiency, you'd...

Hey! I gots one of those!
And it's faster than a Skyline.
And a Fiero.
And a twin-turbo V8 Camaro.
DOH!

How much power is too much?
I think we answered the question a while back. Here's the answer in video form... http://www.pollymotorsport.no/images/stories/albums/Film/Polly_Trans_Am_1407_hk_Rudskogen_2006_nr_1_www_pollymotorsport_no.mpg and http://www.pollymotorsport.no/images/stories/albums/Film/Polly_Trans_Am_1407_hk_Rudskog...

Most T/A owners seem to like placing their IC's perpendicular to the radiator right in front of the airdam, also right in the path of the radiator air feed. A heat exchanger could be done the same way, and is the simplist option when there's no fascia opening. If you're like me though, you don't wan...

I see no listings for 225/55's, but there are 225/50's. Those would be way too short though, even shorter then the front tires, and would shorten the gear ratios which is the opposite of what I want to do, and would make my speedo even further off, so that's not really an option. Unfortunately the o...

Tire sizes
Would it be worth it to slap some 225/60/15's on the rear stock wheels of the Fiero instead of the stock 215/60/15's? I'm about to order new ones. It would help, just a little, in correcting the weight distribution problem. The stock speedo is already a bit fast so that size will make up for it. I'm...

I noticed that too. Yes, the cool flapping sound is un-cool compressor surge. However, that's only detrimental to the turbos (over time), and doesn't hurt the engine (until the point where compressor wheels meet pistons, anyway). That wasn't the engine's problem, as their turbos were just fine. I kn...

*chuckle* I'm just being funny guys, really. Yes, it was because of the tires. The IROC's had 245/16's all the way around, but that is far from ideal for the weight distribution as well. I was talking bone stock for bone stock of course, any tire upgrade on any car will help it and change the compar...

BTW, 1200lbs would do a lot better in all regards compared to any vehicle that weighs the typical 2500-4500lbs. I still like your idea, Will, but there's better to be had still, I think. Well before the ends of our lives there's obviously better to be had. I was talking about what's possible NOW......

Fiero wing?! No, but it is a Firebird steering wheel. *chuckle* http://img303.imageshack.us/img303/7029/5512xf5.jpg http://img303.imageshack.us/img303/2277/firewheelfj0.jpg I've always liked them too.
