It goes on my engine /SOMEWHERE/ but I haven't any idea what it is or where it goes. Not that it's critical, it's been running fine for the last 2 years since I replaced the engine.

That bracket goes on the bulkhead side front headbolt with the stud ( front of engine). It supports the fuel lines from the fuel rail. The fuel lines have a stamped steel bracket around them, the stem on the underside of that bracket goes into the big hole of the bracket in question and the bolt in the small hole.
