Re: F40 Differential Spline Data - CV Spud options
https://realfierotech.com/download/file.php?id=1597 I have a set of the Ecotec racing inner flanges. I can install to my 282 along with the F150 33 spline outer flange and take flange to flange measurements throughout suspension travel. This will give the plunge requirements. That will take a few m...

Re: F40 Differential Spline Data - CV Spud options
F35 Application such as a HHR/Cobalt Axles have the same spline engagement for this app in a Fiero. These cars run jackshafts. Supercharged cars have matching outboard splines to the Fiero, Probably a GM Econo Box Carry over (J-Body ETC) The G6 F40, This also runs a jack shaft but a female splined ...

Ordered the ECM connectors today. They're still available under the numbers shown in the service information, which is fortunate. They're Molex MX123 connectors, but specific variants sold exclusively to GM, so Molex won't send me any. The ECM uses a single 14ga ground wire, which crimps into a sin...

Re: Storm Trooper Maintenance Thread
I guess you mean install the shocks fully extended. With a little muscle, they can be R&R'd with the vehicle on the ground just by turning the wheels full lock. I was speaking in the context of installing the shock on the production line. That's what I inferred. Then using production tooling to...

And wire up the APP sensor, also maybe the cruise switches as well. The Dark Side of Will wrote: ↑Mon Sep 04, 2023 7:54 pm
Even once the engine is in and hooked up, I still need to complete my design of my firewall reinforcement plate to carry the clutch pedal stop and accelerator pedal position sensor bracket.

Re: Storm Trooper Maintenance Thread
I have also used sendcutsend. I like them. I had an issue (on my 84-87 Fiero) with Rodney Dickman zero-lash links whereby the ball-and-socket joints didn't have enough range of motion to work on my Fiero: RD endlink.jpg I'm not sure what went wrong, but it's something to watch out for. Are you shoc...

Re: LS4 build
I'm not saying I plan to sell a bunch of cradles to people, but the possibility is out there. but, if a viable design can be produced for an 88 type suspension replacement for non 88 owners, that has a slight bit better geometry than the beloved 1988, and can use stronger wheel bearings, it may be ...

Re: WK Grand Cherokee Diesel
I've done that before with R12 systems. R134 system performance is much more dependent on having just the right charge, which is not readily assessed from the high and low side pressures. An R134 system really needs to be charged by weight. This and the Benz have variable displacement compressors wh...

I did not devote the entire weekend to The Mule, as I have some PDH's for my PE license that I have to complete, but I did get some things done. The 22ga TAN wire arrived, so I was able to finish wiring up the MAF. The TE wire seals arrived, so I was able to wire up the DBW throttle. The 16ga BLK wi...
