Re: Introduce yourself
Is this like AA but for fiero owners? Hi I'm Levi I've had 6 fieros, 4 FD RX7s, 2 R32 GTRs, one Evo X, SW20 MR2, GC8 STI, EK hatch.... etc etc. I don't frequent this forum or any other anymore because most of the core members have pretty much left the forum as well. I'm a power engineer and I use th...

Re: FD3S RX7
Yeah, drove it all last summer with the new turbo and it's amazing. The spool comes on so early it's really a game changer for the Rotary. Will, unless you want the LS for fuel economy, it's really hard to beat the driving experience of a Borg Warner EFR turbo on a 13b. Rob Dahm is putting a 13b in ...

Re: FD3S RX7
I ordered a set of Advan TCIII wheels for my car last April and they are just now arriving. They should be here on Friday but it's still winter so there won't be any update pics coming for a while. The car should look pretty close to this when the wheels are put on https://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-med...

Nope, basically traded it for the labor cost of building this car. Good trade for me, it wasn't really worth anything.

Re: FD3S RX7
It's a plastic charge pipe of some sort. Now that I have the car back I'll be changing everything I don't like about it, including that boost pipe. Took it for it's first legal drive today. She is straightpipe and loud but I love it lol. Didn't get into boost because I'm in the break in period befor...

OT but FD headlight covers are just as flimsy as Fiero covers...
Got any slips or a vid of the run, maybe post it in the privileged section, I'd like to know how your setup is doing

Yeah she has significantly less weight on the front end compared to a GTR. I think a combination of stock ride height and R compound tires contributed to the body roll.

Re: Let's see your tow rigs!
Nice! So far I have a 4" turbo back straight pipe, Edge programmer and that's about it. Soon I'll likely upgrade the turbo, head studs and throw on some 70 or 100hp injectors. At that point I'll definitely need a new transmission. I'm surprised it's lasted this long (275k km or 172k miles).

Re: Imported another - Toyota this time
I used to auto x against the next generation of this car and I liked it. The stock suspension must be fairly soft or his was worn out because of what seemed like excessive body roll. Always thought it would be a great year round Canadian car. I imagine it would handle snow excellently.

Let's see your tow rigs!
I just saw Will's update on his tow vehicle and I'd like to see everyones. Mine is an old 2002 24v Dodge Ram Cummins that I've had since it was a year old. It was originally a foreman's truck from my old job. He didn't like Ford or Chevy so they allowed him to order a Dodge. It was the only one in t...

There is some waste but that never really concerned me. That's a job I'd go out and buy a fresh tube of grease for. After the job that tube of grease usually sits for years and gets wasted anyways.

Really cheap, basically a cone that goes over the bearing with a grease zerk. http://www.ebay.com/itm/UNIVERSAL-AUTO-CAR-GREASE-WHEEL-BEARING-PACK-PACKER-PACKING-AUTO-GREASING-TOOL-/301380647632 http://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/aM8AAOSwGWNUWZjE/s-l500.jpg Best used for re-packing bearings, forces the d...

Are you doing it the old fashioned way or using a bearing packer?
