Use a C4 Corvette rack. The hydraulic lines clear everything nicely, unlike the Fbody rack that requires the spare tire tub to be clearanced. The C4 rack uses the stock OEM Fiero mount on one side and a custom mount on the other. Then all you need are 2 adapters to connect the C4 rack to the Fiero i...

ORENJi and OMiCRON torrents for Battlestar Galactica are generally high quality, DiVX, and in widescreen. I record them myself, but these are usually higher quality than I can make myself. They'll do until the next set of DVDs is released. I used to use iTunes, but the quality of the downloaded epis...

Ar-chie was talking about stock axles not breaking. Since Dave's engine is shifted, it uses custom axles. Different situation completely. As for the ZZ430 arguement, it may not be a serial numbered from GM ZZ430, but if you use all of the GM ZZ430 parts in it, calling it a ZZ430 is just an efficient...

Dave, I'm looking at doing a ZZ4, or similar, swap. I would be interested in any and all info you can offer - possible problems to look out for, things to beef up, etc. It would be preferable to learn from someone else's experience rather than have to go through the same problems on my own. Feel fre...

Looks like it's going to be maybe an inch offset at most. These axles have some room for play, thankfully. With all due respect I actually find some humor in this fact because V8Archie, himself, beat up the other kits that moved the trans for years and now he is doing it! Anyway, I have a question ...

Update: 200ft burnout. Did this yesterday afternoon with my friend in the car. I basically let the clutch out, went full throttle, and then slightly modulated the braked pedal. Using the brakes, I could do a 200ft burnout in just about anything. I used that method to burn at least 200ft of rubber i...

I wonder why he got valve float at 5200 rpm? Something's wrong. Stock redline is about 6000-6200. My 99 Grand Am 3400 shifts at about 5800 if I leave it in Drive. (once he gets the LS1 or LS6 springs, that should fix that problem) Other than crap intake gaskets, it's a good solid engine. With the 39...

Well, assuming you replace your entire fuel system with E85 compatible stuff, including a stainless steel gas tank, what are you going to use as a fuel sensor? Unless it will run ONLY on E85 (not a good idea since it's not widely available), you're going to need something to tell the ECM how much ga...
