It's heavier, slower and will probably cost more money than the Z06. That little 5.4 is done out to the max and they're already having problems keeping it together.
Ford should really consider using a big block if anything, like the Boss 429...

Your car's black right? I think painted white would look pretty good. Hit it up with zinc primer and clear over the white paint :thumbleft: . I like the polished look but it's such a pain to keep clean. No this one is maroon :puke: What do you guys mean by the "paint that actually looks liek a...

God i hope not, the thing with the OE steel ones is the bleeder valve is secured to the main body in an area around 1/8" and mine just snapped the whole bleed boss off...but i'm sure the valve has never been used since manufacturing of the car. I feel this isn't the end of my clutch problems :s...

Well i got the other slave cylinder and it was correct. This one is cast aluminum while the OE was cheap steel. So i installs it and flush the lines and now it seems my clutch master needs replacing. I'm absolutely sure there is no air in the lines and it still wont go into gear, hopefully it's not ...

The slave selection has absolutely nothing to do with where the pipe is on the master cylinder. The slave must match the transmission.
These are just what i am asked at the parts store, and online catelogs ask the same.

Clutch slave cylinder problems

I decided to bleed my clutch system (since the fluid in my clutch master was black) and i ended up snaping the bleeding nipple off with the boss attatched  I swear that was designed to fail... The problem other than the obvious is that when i ordered the new slave it was the wrong one. (Knobs...

[/quote] Sports car? Ooohhh... You mean the Mustang... GM started lots of trends... turbo compact cars (Corvair), AWD sedans (Pontiac 6000), fast trucks (Syclone/Typhoon) and then fucked their leads away in all those areas. Ford's done exactly the same thing and frittered away all the street cred fo...

The "idle air control" valve may not have as yet learned it's new position...perform the IAC relearn procedure for GM. Typical relearn is this: 1. Start vehicle and allow to idle--allow to reach normal operating temperature. Allow to idle in varying gear positions (drive/neutral) for up to...

If you were to find an Olds V6 4.3 diesel....run away from it as fast as you can. i just went on a round trip with my 86 2.5 5spd from northern BC all the way to the lower mainland (2400k) i kept my gas bills and they added up to about $140 and at $1.15 a liter for fuel it came to about 120 liters of fuel. So a little bit of math i come up with 20 kilometers per liter. It's not t...

I dunno, I'm an EMT and our ambulances are based on the E-350 platform with the 7.3 turbo diesel. They take a lickin (+150km WOT for more than any vehicle should ever experience) and keep on tickin. Not too shabby for not being a Chevy :la:
