yay for new computers

Post by Kohburn »

been looking for a new notebook computer and i have a tendancy to want touchscreen capability.. so when I saw toshiba was having a 2 day 25% off sale ( http://www.toshibadirect.com/td/b2c/tos ... over_link1 )

I did some price comparisons and ended up ordering my 1.7ghz tablet notebook (and a seperate 1gig sodimm from newegg )

just incase anyone else is looking -

That is a good deal, but it is a fairly large notebook. I just bought an HP TC4200 a couple of months back, which I like a lot but was far more expensive.

eh its only an inch larger across than the ones with a 12" screen..

i decided the inch was worth the extra screen space

Looks like I own the notebooks with a 17" widescreen :la:

But mine functions more as a desktop PC, just more compact. It never really leaves my room other than to fly back home with me. I just wish Dell could have made it with a standard keyboard. I have over 2" of empty space on EACH side of the keyboard, why not make it wider?
