The Craftsman lifetime warranty specifically says it's for "Hand Tools."
Power tools, air tools, etc. are not covered by it. They have their own warranty terms.
Do Craftsman air tools have a lifetime warranty too?

Rather than going to Harbor Freight, would I be better off going to Walmart and buying the Cambell Hausfield air tools? How do they compair to Harbor Freight air tools? The only tools that I want are a ratchet, an impact wrench, and a die grinder. And none of them will see a whole lot of use.

I have a Blue Point 3/8" impact and a Craftsman 1/2" impact. Both work great. I have owned the Craftsman since 1996 and have NEVER had any problems with it and use it in a SHOP environment nearly every day. The Blue Point appear to be better built; but I have a friend who has been thru 3 Blue Points and 2 Craftsmans; the exact models I have.
I rank campbell housfields up there with chicago phunematic, MIT, and other "generic" brands. I own generic brands of air rachets, die grinders, air hammer, etc and never really had any problems with them. The generic brand impact guns aren't worth shit tho.
The most powerful brand impact guns I have used were Ingersol-Rand (IR). The best place to buy most of these "brand-name" air tools is eBay. You can get some pretty good deals and like-new equipment for about 1/2 the retail price. Just make sure you double check mfgr's website (snap-on for blue point, sears for craftsman, etc) for retail price so you don't get scammed by the auction.
