Ok That's not a targe. That's a convertable with a hard top. I think he just wants a Targa top keeping the rear window and sail section. As far as help I my salf want to do this but have found no workup or even a pic(I havent looked wuch). From what I can see the hole were the sunroof gose is somewhat of a help. If you weld in some reinforcement befor you cut, You can cut right along with the back of the hole to the door. then cut about 2" or so from the front window. That what I have pland so far but I'v yet to do any cuting or fab work to see what you will run in to. But good Luck :thumbleft:

85GToronto & cozmo both had targa cars. Do a search of the archives on NL and you'll find all kinds of stuff. I believe the tops were made by Corsen.[/img]

targa is just t-tops without a center bar AaronAaron wrote:I never thought I'd say this, but that white car in those pics needs a chop top. It isn't bad, but to me something looks off, like it doesn't "fit," maybe too wannabe Corvette.
I'd say stick with the sunroof/T-tops.
those pics look a little squished to me. not quite right.. maybe just a bad angle - i've seen some hot targa fieros
No shit, but as you said, it isn't quite right. Maybe it is just the pics. I like the idea, but havn't seen one I like yet.Kohburn wrote: targa is just t-tops without a center bar Aaron
