EGR assembly

Post by teamhavok2 »

So i was driving this 4th and on the way to the river my car started getting louder and louder. Pulled over and my egr assembly was screwed. On of the 2 bolts had snapped at the bottom in the crossover pipe and has whelded itself in (easy out just drilled a small hole) and the other one had stripped the top tread of the other side. Was wondering if i should get a new crossover pipe or if i should just drill them out and put a bolt under the crossover pipe?

awsome. I have to go for a smog test pretty soon here and wasn't sure if i just used a bolt and nut if it would fail. Thanks.
