1995 Cadillac SLS 4T80E for sale, Portland, OR

Post by Nashco »

So, I've got this 4T80E that I pulled when I got my Northstar engine. I won't be using it, it's taking up room in my shop, and of course I don't want to just scrap it.

The car had around 120k miles on it according to the carfax I did when I got it, but I have no way of proving it since the main harness was cut when I got the car, so I couldn't light up the gauges. Since it was from an SLS, it should have a 3.11 final drive instead of the 3.71 final drive that the STS has, for better highway cruising comfort and fuel economy. Oh, and this came from a wrecked car, so it worked fine when removed, obviously, since it drove right up until it's last breath. ;)

If you want/need a 4T80E and are in the general Portland vacinity, this is a score. $100, will not ship. Please buy this before I come up with some retarded project idea for it, like one of these with a 4T80E and SC 3800... :)

pretty. I'll have to figure a way to justify removing a new engine at under 10k with my fiancee. Maybe I'll use the "I just spent 6k on that shiny finger of yours". I'll let you know if that works out... might have to sleep on someones couch for a bit though

Bump, still have it in the way. Surely somebody needs a spare.

Yup, still taking up floor space. I'm going to see if I can figure out a safe way of getting it down to the basement tomorrow. I haven't had anybody pick it up and I can't stand to scrap a perfectly good transmission. It'd be much easier to lift this into the back of a truck than to carry it down a set of stairs. ;)
