I have an 87 GT that I bought last August. And I noticed when I turn a corner, and accelerate, the tranny spins much faster than it should.
And I was driving it yesterday, and I turned a corner, it did it again, and it started to make this sound, like an electric saw cutting into wood.
I opened the trunk, and noticed when it's put into drive, the whole engine shifts.
How would I go about fixing this?
Possible mount problem?

depending on how much it is moving you could have worn out or torn engine and transmission mounts. if they are bad then IMO it is best to replace them all at once since one worn out mount can make new ones die pretty quickly.
not sure what the buzsaw noise would be unless there was an internal problem in the tranny or if the flywheel, a belt, or half shaft was hitting something during the turn. which can also be cause by worn out mounts.
you can get all new replacements from autozone or a similar parts store.
or you can get improved mounts that will last longer from rodneydickman.com

Yeah, auto or manual? Does engine RPM change? Does power delivery change, or is it just noise/vibration?
On my formula, torn transmission mounts allowed the engine to tip over far enough that the bolt through the engine side dogbone mount tapped dents into the strut tower on really hard left cornering.
