ericjohn,
Hold up on the drawing... I just had a vendor that I contacted almost two months ago (email and message) contact me today and let me know he'd be happy to bore to ID one of his custom two piece drive shaft sensor rings.

Ok.. looks like I have a reluctor wheel solution without going 'completely' custom.
Davis Technologies contacted me after a month or so, lost my email and finally got back with me...
They sell a 32 tooth two piece drive shaft reluctor in several sizes
https://moretraction.com/product/32t-dr ... -rpm-ring/
I had Shannon take one of their 1.750" ID rings and bore it to 1.768, the mic'd diameter of the paint stripped saab/cobalt axle. Ordered it Tuesday and it arrived today from NC to GA.
I'll either add a small tack or some thread lock around the contact area.

Used saab 9-3 F40 2.8T stock pressure plate, clutch, and flywheel sent off to RAM Clutches to draw up and manufacture a 9.5" twin disc setup. Probably very very similar to their 3.6 Camaro twin disc setup...
If anyone is interested in one to get the initial purchase price down let me know...

Just a quick update...
Good News...California Clutch coughed up the refund for the Clutch/PP/FW.. Bank is still going after AlphaFabIndustries
RAM clutch gave a 6weeks or less completion time on the twin Clutch/PP/FW (ericjohn - thanks for recommending them to me...although busy, they've been very up front, honest, and fair with their timeframes, expectations, and prices)
Been searching everywhere on the ATSV 54way female body harness to engine harness lever connector which will then be routed up to the C500 (or replacement), to the FPCM, etc.. . Trying to keep as much stock GM parts as possible but this connector:
- is 'only' used on the 2016+ ATS/ATSV body harness
- yards don't want to cut such a large connector off a newer harness
- 80$ (discounted) connector kit from GM'without' pins and seals that go for 4$ to 8$ a pin
So going with a 47 pin (11 of the 54pin stock connector are empty) DELPHI/Aptiv circular HES Deustch compatible connectors. Hoping I didn't make a mistake as the dies and crimper go for 300$ and $100 respectively. Hopefully I can get my WeatherPak or Metripak crimpers to work on these.

And we wonder why GM has financial issues.
That being said, those look like normal metri-pack pins. You should be able to get those for under $1 each.

yes indeed... waytech and mouser sell them roughly .17-25cents a single and discounted in bulk...

Do you have the PN for the connector body and/or kit?

Oh, sorry. I meant the GM bulkhead connector that you're trying to get away from.
If you've ever run across the PNs for the bulkhead pass-throughs used in the stock Fiero harness at the middle of the firewall, I'm interested in those.

ATSV Engine to Body Harness Connector
Female 54-way
OEM Connector 13591808
Service Connector 19300563
Male 54-way
OEM Connector 1351807
Service Connector 19300564
Those firewall pass through connectors are just a wrap around bracket, correct? Not a connector, correct?

Yes, the Fiero ones are just a clamshell with a comb that goes through the harness. GM looped one wire around one of the comb tines to keep the whole assembly from sliding on the harness before it was potted. The stock pass-throughs are profiled to work with the shape of the hole in the firewall, are a PITA to take apart because they're potted and either break due to age or distort due to the heat required to separate the shells from the potting compound. I'm sure there's no new production, but the PN would be nice to use to search for NOS parts hanging around.

No go on the twin disc setup from RAM Clutches...
RAM and I finally got everything measured out and once they cad'd up the setup... the input shaft on the F40 isn't long enough to enable engagement on both of their discs... what a buggar...
Soooo.....they are looking into what they can create with a 9.5" single setup and if that's a no go... looks like I'll be going with a Spec Stage 3+ after all...
Update: RAM recommended going with the "known" SPEC Stage 3+ vs having them engineer a 9.5" single from scratch.... I agreed...

I've heard the 3+ is a full-face Stage 3, but that could be fake news. My "normal" Stage 3 behind the Northstar is a chattery SOB in heavy traffic.

It sure looks like it given the website's statement on the 3 vs 3+ material. Unfortunately, after dealing with Clutchnet (never delivered), RossEngineering (sounded enthusiastic then went radio silent), Tilton, Clutchmasters, and now RAM Clutches(tried very hard to make a dual solution) for almost 9 months with nothing to show, I have to welcome the world of "I don't have a choice"
The turbo BMW guys and mustangs I've spoke to about the stage 3+ all say to seriously spend the 500-550 miles of stop and go break it in to get a livable engagement. We'll see..

SPEC Stage 3+ is in:
Chromoly Flywheel is 25lbs (a little heavier than I thought it would be, shooting for about 17lbs)
Total Stage 3+ Clutch, Pressure Plate, and Flywheel is 40lbs
OEM Clutch, Pressure Plate, and Flywheel is 40lbs

OEM SAAB 9-3 F40 Engine Code B284 V6 Turbo flywheel to Clutch part number:
11588884 hex socket head M10-1.0mm x 24mm
VW/Audi has an equivalent with larger flange 12 point socket head: N90904601
Also the same for the LFX V6 Camaro. Cross references into GM catalog as well and much cheaper than from a SAAB dealer, site, etc..

So while shopping for a 3.09 final drive F40 out of the UK to mimic what FieroGuru did while installing a quaife, SPEC allowed me to swap my 25lb steel flywheel for the aluminum for just the difference in price with no restocking fees etc.... They stated on the phone the aluminum one was 14-16lbs approximately.... Just received the aluminum yesterday and put it on the scales an it comes in at only 10lbs.....
SPEC Steel Saab 9-3 F40 2.8T flywheel - SS23S-4 25lbs
SPEC Alum Saab 9-3 F40 2.8T flywheel - SS23A-4 10lbs
Given the 40lb steel flywheel setup this roughly a 33% reduction in overall stack setup weight...
I know this isn't super light but do any of you have any experience running aluminum flywheels, this will be my first. This too light?
FYI: finally got the fiero back from ThaDriver with the body mods. NoMad from the gafiero.org board drove me out there to pick it up and hopefully will be joining up here...

I used an aluminum flywheel on my lx9 turbo. About 9lbs. I liked it. Never had issues from lights. Fieros dont need a 30 lb flywheel. The car is not heavy.
You should like it but everyone has different driving styles. I liked mine.
Use hardened washers for the crank bolts and use blue loctite

I think I can find arps to fit up. Do you have a source for the hardened washers? Might see if arp has some wide enough...
