Oh ok, well if you ever happen to figure out what kinda weight your at on the car post her up, Also what kinda 60 foot did you run?
Yes--his LS1/6 speed Formula ran high 13.8 down here in Texas. I can say the car had more in it and if had a good driver would have went faster.THE PUNISHER wrote:IF Xthumper X ran a low 14 with his , I have no doubt mid 13's is attainable stock.
didn't one of archies 6spd LS1 cars recently run a high 13?
I don't remember the MPH but I can tell you the car could have run a better time with a good driver. This was the first time the guy had ever been to the track and I am willing to bet was his last. The car could run low 13s with just a driver mod.Shaun41178(2) wrote:if it ran a 13.8 at 100 mph then I would say no to having more left in it. If it ran 13.8 at 110, then I would say yes to it having more in it.
Remember drcpu has made multiple trips down the qtr mile now, all running upper 13's at around 101 mph.
My first time out with the Northstar, I ran 13.2 @ 102. That was with a problem with my IAT sensor. When I found and fixed that I knocked off .4 and picked up 4 mph.Shaun41178(2) wrote:if it ran a 13.8 at 100 mph then I would say no to having more left in it. I meant low 13s--Hit wrong key and didn't re-read.Shaun41178(2) wrote:low 12's? So you are saying its a potential 115 mph car? thats roughly the mph needed to do a low 12 in a fiero. if thats the case, then when he ran it at the track he must have been trapping around 108 even if only running high 13's.
