Well I'm not going to spoil it for Scott, but all I'll say is that he's considerably faster than before.

All I can really say is 10 something at 130something, ish sorta. There are TONS of vids that I will be collecting over the next few days. Quite a few fanboys there supporting me. I have 4 angles of the 10 something run.

I blew a radiator hose on my second full pull. Was sorta hoping to make it to the end on that one.. was the last pass of the day if I blew or not.

you spraying it or no?

Also did you ever dyno it? I was in Michigan last weekend right near Milan too. Why couldn't you have gone last week? :-D

Congrats on a new personal best.

no dyno, no spray. 60ft was one of my slowest ever.... brakes, tune, driver mod... all probably need some work to get the 60 down. Spray and antilag will help, I was not banking on 60ft'ing it hard, was there for the backhalf.

Never got to get a full run in on max boost either, setup has alot of room left.

Any info on that hose blowing off? Was it a front/rear and was it a spring clamp or a gear clamp holding it on? Just wondering why it would have popped off....

yea I am wondering if a headgasket is letting go, thus pressurizing the cooling system to a point of blowing a hose. Lets just hope it was a loose clamp though considering everything was just installed in a rush, and this was nothing more then a simple oversight of under tightening a clamp.

Also saw that you went to Norwalk. Thats a good track, and a pretty fast one in my opinion. Thats where I used to go and run.

That wasn't Norwalk. It was US131 in Martin, MI.

Since his coolant disaster caused the track to close right as I was getting ready to make a run, I'm putting up the video of the blow up ;)

So what was the E.T. and trap on that blown-hose run?

Looks like DRV rear blew off so I am going to guess installer error........

Neither, it was a old fiero clamp that probably had 3 threads showing past the nut. I easily slid the hose and clamp back on. I forgot to tighten it after filling the coolant.

I have the timeslip somewhere, but it was a better 60ft than the fastest time I had, and i was running a solid psi or 2 more than the fastest time I had as well.

it looked like on the blown run that the time was a 14.6 at 61mph. Letting off at the 300 ft mark still netted a faster time then Fierofreds sbc v8 swap. More proof that the 3800 swap, at this point in time, is the ideal swap to make a lot of power and go fast while keeping it relatively cheap.

the log said 85mph when the tires lit up in second gear and I noticed this happening, and I trap 112 in the 1/8, so yea probably ran a 14 coasting from the ~400ft mark. I turned the key off before I hit the 1/4 mile.

Nice job. X territory or bust 8) Loved the conversation when you got the slip too. Better take care of those headlight doors though :P
