Id go with the 3.4 turbo, But thats how I roll. If you want a turbo kit, Im trying to get rid of mine... (not trying to steal your thread but) I made it but its really nice! ask donk,he has seen it. Air to water intercooler in the trunk 38mm wastegate, flomaster y pipe and 3" down pipe, powder coted everything red, all exhuast is wraped and much more. Its set up for 12psi and has a holset hx35 turbo plenty big for the 3.4.

And they don't throw a iron intake and quadrajet carb on, they use average aftermarket pieces, hey, identical to what you have. Engines also need a distributor to run on a dyno, and a Summit HP isn't going to add any power. You're probably not even making 265hp, considering you're either running stock manifolds or those shitty excuse for headers.
Who peed in your cornflakes? Find out what he's got before you call bullshit.

Is anyone who builds a 3400 turbo a moron just because you like the DOHC engine?

We already know you're an asshat... you don't have to keep trying to prove it to us day after day.

I know you don't want to hear it, but if you're fine with a 3400, why not 1 up it to a 3.4 DOHC? You obviously don't care enough about looks, as a 3400 doesn't look anything at all like a 2.8.

And lastly, if for some ignorant reason you choose to stay with the 3.4 OHV, why are you going to buy a turbo kit, just to hack it up and redo it? Why not build your own? And what do these "kits" include as far as tuning is concerned?
I do care about looks, as I said before. That means no DOHC for me. I will be using a 3400 with iron heads. Everything will be P&P and gasket matched. There will be no hacking or re-doing the turbo kit - remember iron heads. Tuning is not an issue, again, as I said before, I will be running a Haltech ECU. You should read the post before you reply, it would save you some typing. And dont say that my decisions are ignorant, you dont want to do that....
