Tends to freeze. While in your pocket. So you'll be walking around all day and then realize that people have been trying to reach you for 6 hours and your phone's windows mobile operating system is frozen and hasn't been letting in incoming calls.

Another good one. It tends to freeze. Right when you are picking up an incoming call!

Kills batteries. All of a sudden, your phone's battery won't accept a charge!

A guy in the office had one die on the firmware update. Moto had to ship him a new device.

When I set mine up to sync with firm email, it replaced my phone "contacts" with outlook ones. So now instead of hitting one button and going through my contacts and making a call, i now have to go through several screens to get to phone contacts because the thousands of contacts in outlook are useless. No way I've found to date to revert that button. That's probably more a goodlink thing then a moto/MS thing though.

Battery life isn't a whole day even with no talk time.

When I think of more, i'll let you know.

really? why is that?
I just setup a few of them for our office. they link directly with the MS exchange server. no "activesync" needed anymore. I thought this was a great feature. much better than them blackberrys they were using.

and, I have had pretty good luck with the Verizon service.

The only thing I can say that I dont like about the Samsung A-707 is that I cant set the voice mail/text message ringers to a mp3 ringer, same with the alarm (you have to use the gay reingers that come with the phone). That and the fact that the head set has to plug into a weird serial port or go bluetooth.

yes, the battery life thing we noticed right away.
but, the contacts - sofar, we like the outlook list.
maybe our models have newer firmware - no lockups yet. but, being MS WinCE - I'm sure its coming

Well the 870 I think just said 32 tone ringers, but I can download "Truetones" as Telus calls them, which are just sound clips (and I saw the file being downloaded which had an mp3 extension).. I think I'll be able to do more once I get a data cable.. Reception definately isn't as good as my old craptacular Kyocera k494 though.

Imagine what it would've done if they would've sent you a picture.

My vote goes for the Moto V262. Mine got left on the ground in a 1" puddle for 3 hours and got ran over by a car while it was sitting there. Still works fine.

well, just checked with the guys with the Moto Q's - no lock ups yet, internet/email work great, but - battery life SUCKS. one has a bluetooth earpeice, and has almost gone Borg with his Moto Q he likes it so much.

I decided on the Samsung SCH-A930. Should be getting it in next week. It was $50.

Yeah, I guess. I don't know for sure. It's through my old job.

I've got the Sony Ericsson Z520a and it works really weel and it has a camera and you can put pictures you've taken to a certain somebody and you can get this thing called bluetooth and make your own ringtones and send it from your computer to your phone, bluetooth can do SO much more too. It's pretty amazing

Razr V3i itunes

Waited months for cingular to get it and went through hell with them for 2 weeks to convert my att blue plan to a cingular orange plan to get it up and running fully but it was worth it in the end.

It's a phone, it's an ipod, it's all good.
