I claimed 30mpg, 3000+ miles a month, and 12s in the quarter for that V8Archie vs RFT thread. Well I drove about 90 minutes to Rockingham to verify what I said.
60'====2.119
33====5.627
1/8====8.449
MPH====86.55
1000===10.874
1/4====12.893
MPH====111.45
I averaged 31.5mpg on the ride there.

Good run man. Thats a good mph. Isuzu tranny right? Those manuals sure do give mph over the autos that most run.

If you could cut a better 60ft, like in the 1.7 range you'd be low 12's with no problems! Nice times!

Yea, I couldn't hook for shit today. I run 1.8-1.9 consistantly at the 1/8 mile track, but just couldn't get below a two today. Spun through first each time.
The real problem is these 225s i'm running. I probably won't run the car again until the new power adder is on.

My v8 did 12.3 as a best but I cut a 1.7 60 ft time. I can't repeat that everytime though. Got lucky I guess. Surprised my tranny held, but I don't drive it much.
Your mph is the same as mine though so you are close to my hp. I don't see how that is possible though since you only have 6 cylinders and I have 8.
I am lucky if I get 22 mpg on the highway. I have to do 60 mph to get that.

F23 is a f-king champion. In just a short while longer when i'm 2-stepping this thing at the line with 12lbs of boost and DRs, thats when it may start to sweat.
I don't think there is any way that 350ft-lbs and 225s will break this thing. I shock load the hell out of this thing just being an ass with friends and it laughs at my attempts of torture. I can't say how long it'll last with this type of behavior but its the future for fiero 5spds.
The longer people keep humping the F40, the easier it will be for me to try to become one of the few fast 'mainstream' manual cars. I know I have a long way to go as it sits, but the F40 swaps aren't moving along at an alarming rate either. There is so much custom fab with those that I just don't see it being overly popular.
Stock axles, stock clutch, stock shift assembly ftw

Isn't the F23 rated at half the torque the F40 is?
