I need a 12 pin male ground block that goes on a 98 northstar harness. It plugs into the main harness and grounds 12 pins via a ring terminal that is bolted to the block. I cant find them anywhere.

its a Delphi 12 pin M8.

Didn't AC Delco have an online catalog for terminals? I know of the many catalogs at WCF, Chris has a print version of this catalog, and it was/is handy as a MOFO.

searchable PDF's I love you.

That was quick.

These will be handy for anyone doing a harness. Instead of splicing all your grounds together, you just pin them to this block and bolt it to the chasis. More work I guess but much cleaner.

Those blocks are called "splice savers" for a reason. Pins can be crimped by machine. I assume that the time it takes the harness builder to populate the block is less than it takes for him to make a splice.

Yup, from a harness design perspective, splices are fairly costly because they're labor intensive. They also increase the bundle size in a lump (meaning conduit cover becomes a PITA) and are less consistent than machine crimped pins. If you've got more than three or four wires (depending on wire size) in a design it's usually better to use a splice saver/terminal block. From a service perspective, it's a real PITA to trace down problems with spliced circuits, I like the terminal blocks much more.
