Where to sell old catalytic convertors?

Post by Unsafe At Any Speed »

Does anybody know of a good place to sell used cats? I've heard of some places paying upwards of $200 each. I have 4 of them to get rid of.

Try your local recycling depot. The one here buys catayltic convertors, old PC's and shit.

Bust out the phone book almost any metal recycler will take them, remember they do wear out so some are only worth a dollar or two as straight scrap.

I figure since they're off of '04s they should be pretty good still. I'll check around locally I guess.

Scrap is way down, there not worth much right now. Dig a hole, put them in it and thank me this summer when they are worth 5 times as much.

Oh yeah? Thanks for the heads up. I'm really in no hurry to sell them or anything. I would rather wait for a good price.
