OK. Yeah, I know, sounds crazy.
With google adsense, it is now possible.
So here's how it would work:
Users would sign up for an ADSENSE account and the user would need their own webpage to be approved by Google.
The users would then enter their adsense account information into the forum software.
The forum administrator would set a ratio for user ads to be shown. Could be 50/50, could be 100/0 etc.
When a user makes a new thread, the user's adsense ADs are served on the page at whatever ratio.
Eventually user gets paid by Google DIRECTLY.
IS THAT COOL OR WHAT???~!~!~!
I want questions, comments and concerns. GIVE 'EM TO ME~!
one more thing, I have the server software ready to go.
Getting paid to post topics a possiblity in future forums?

The amount on the cost per click ad depends on the key words that were
sold. Some are $0.25 and others are larger $5.
I believe google does both cost per view ads and cost per click.
The net from other webmasters I speak with is about $1/thousand ads shown.

I found a good example of this system being used in an automotive forum. The ad system looks for key words and inserts its own links in teh form of a separate post. I should just post the link here you go.

I guess it's an ok system but may get annoying at times. But like other things we can always just look past them. It could be a form to pay for the site though. So in general not too bad of an idea.
