New Video Card

So I just got a new video card. I was going some research for a friend of mine and I found a GeForce FX 5600 with 256 megs of ram for cheaper than I could pass up. Does anyone know of any programs or games out there that could show me the true potential of this new card??

Battlefield 2 is a good card test.
Unreal 2
Probibly some others that I've never played.
Just be carefull they're both addicting

They just need to build graphix cards with DIMM slots. That way you could drop a gig onto your GFX card wihtout thinking twice.

They use to have that. I remember droping in a 32mb chip into my matrox g200 gfx card, man that was a while back.
But ...wWith the speed of system RAM now, the video cards just use that and its about the same thing.

Now in a situation like mine. I have a 6600gt that has 256mb of high speed memory. Even though I have 2gb of high speed ram, the stuff on my video card is still faster.
Thats not a common situation.

i have the gforce 5600 xt with 256mbs and it sucks for any new games plus its at least 3 years old. it plays games fine but doesnt look all to good plus u cant turn up the setting on most games u get to much fps drop.
