Sob anyone know anything about Hydro static Trannies?

My 3-4 Year Old Scotts lawn mower (s1642) made by John Deere, won't move Belt is spinning the fan on top of that tranny so it's being driven, yet the lever has no pressure like it does when it's working. no Fwd /reverse. It's a seal unit so I can't add fluid. Thoughts?

Ive rebuilt two.
International 656 and an IH self propelled corn chopper.
Best advice, tear it apart, to the smallest piece, clean each part, and put them in plastic bags. Dump them in the trash and buy a new mower.

I'm about to acquire an old skool Cub Cadet with a hydrostatic trans.... of course those were reliable.
