Would it be possible to convert the 88GT to ITA? What would it need?

It would be possible, and I check into this for somebody else. The cage is currently illegal for IT because it has too many mounting points. Rally cages tend to be welded to the chassis every place a tube comes in contact with it. I think the A-pillars are tacked to the cage, and the B-pillars are tacked to the main hoop. Some patience with a sawzall would fix this.

Haha, you and your logbooks :salute:
I tried to keep that going, but I gotta say, after the second tank I put in, logbooks just aren't for me.
I highly reccomend Doug as a seller, I couldn't have been happier with my purchase.

Actually this is different. What Aaron is talking about is a log I keep with each car of all gas ups, oil changes, and maintenance.
The log books I'm talking about in this ad are log books issued by the sanctioning body. These record the VIN of the car, the serial number of the cage, and all events competed in. Having a log book means the car has had its initial inspection and you can show up and race anywhere.

I keep a fuel and maintenance log for each of my cars as well.
Not keeping one means you really don't know how your gas or oil mileage behaves over time and makes it harder to keep up with your 3000--err... 4300--err... 5700 mile oil changes.
It also helps keep track of when the last time you did ANY particular thing to the car was and when you did modifications and how well they're lasting.

I just reset my odometer every time I fill. Usually reads about the same when I fill up. My 84 was around 190 miles at 1/4 tank.
