Finally picked out a place and I'm getting an appartment in the city. Move in date is the 15th of october.

My last/first appartment was kind of a joke as far as furniture went with things like an air mattress, car seats out of a van for a couch and rims and a board for tables. Hey, I was a poor college student.

Anyway, I've got virtually no furniture and need to get this place ready for the hoes.

This is the floor plan:

The right side of the plan is full length windows and I don't want to obstruct the view I'm paying a premium for.

I'll start updating this with what I'm buying and want input since I like buying things once.

leaning towards this couch/loveseat combo:

I could replace the loveseat with just a single also.

Cost Plus and Ikea are your best friends.

a 50" plasy won't hurt the atmosphere either.

can't go wrong with a simple couch and loveseat - they'll last you for years and easily fit in at other apartments or houses.

I've got a couch loveseat and single 3peice set.. works really well - but primary change i would make is replace the single with a nice recliner - so you could get that set and a nice black leather recliner so all those hoes can lay up on you while you watch the big screen.

for the diningroom - round or rectangle in a variety of colors.

can get them here

You don't want furniture that is too big. It will make the room look smaller.
A sofa/bed and loveseat should be good enough for the living room and it offers a place for overnight guests to stay. :thumbleft:

ya ya - and you dont have alot of room to start with.

a hardwood floor will make it seem bigger, and make the stereo sound much better too

You need some light wood for your furniture. Don't get black stuff with the black couch.

Do you really bring home a lot of different chicks, or are you the long term relationship kind of guy? Cause If your the second like me, get comfortable furniture. (anything comes off microfiber) And its better when she tells you to sleep on the couch.

Also remember the coffee table Tina made out of an engine? That was sweet.

Thats such a baddass Idea, and the chicks like it too, and if they dont, then do you really want to put your penis in them?

I'm not really into Ikea. Having things that are made of low quality irritates me. I bought a $100 futon from ikea back when I was in school and ended up throwing out all the fastners and buying new hardware.

I'm leaning towards a 42 inch plazma.

That's what I'm thinking. I'll have the set for 10+ years so spending a copule hundred extra on the leather isn't that big a deal.

Thanks for the 3 piece advice set. I was thinking about doing that, but adding a recliner instead down the road instead would make a lot of sense.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do for the dining room. I do like the look of those glass top tables.
