This is a pretty good blueprint for building a traction control system... Cut individual fuel injectors as the power output needs to be reduced. Very simple system.....

That is some cool stuff. Lots of the MegaSquirt guys have been looking into doing this with the GPIO board.

MS doesn't do sequential and I don't think the GPIO board can handle SFI either (it just communicates with MS over CAN). Individual injector cut probably wouldn't be feasible with that setup.
I would think the easiest way to implement traction control would be to use an electronic throttle body off a new Series III 3800SC or something similar. You could make a box with a standard GM throttle cam and the appropriate position sensor (probably just a rotary potentiometer?) so you can use the stock throttle cable. Then just program the ECM to copy the throttle position as indicated unless there is loss of traction; then ease it off an appropriate amount.

Sorry I fergot to say that. MS is planing on going sequential but dosnt support it right now.
I was also thinking of implementing the drive by wire system and have it pull throttle as traction was losted. You could also have it pull timing to a certian extent.

I hate electronic throttles :la:
Series, you could build a traction control module with a basic stamp. That's the beauty of this system... All you need are mosfets x number of cylinders.
Have the stamp read front and rear tire speed, and program it to cut injectors vs slip. Have it start at 15% slip or whatever and ramp up linearly.
If you don't want TC, you just switch off the module.

Thats what happens when you try developing to many things at once.

Or maybe a 1000+hp fiero?
