i am just wondering how to go about chosing a good camshaft for say a, 383 twin turbo.

i am probably just going to go with a Summit Racing brand, but dont know what the differences are in the cams other than the power range. Is that the only difference in the cams, when it creates the best power?

i like the SUM-1105 personally.

Crower will custom grind a cam to your needs. They ground one for me for a turbo Buick V6 and it was awesome.

Intake 290 duration, .472 lift
Exhaust 280 duration, 442 lift
Lobe separation 112 degrees

The intake and exhaust specs are reversed when compared to a NA camshaft.

The lower lift and short duration on the exhaust side increases the velocity of the exhaust gas exiting the port for better response from the turbo.
