Well, I go in for surgery in 90 minutes. I haven't been able to eat since midnight last night, so I'm starving, But, hopefully in 10 to 12 weeks, I'll be able to walk normally again. Woo-hoo!

good luck dude, make sure u confirm with the doctor how long u have to wait untell u can acctualy kick someone in the ass with it again :thumbleft:
Last May I was walking out of an autoparts store carrying a bucket seat. I stepped off of the curb and into the parking space in front, and my foot went into a 4" deep pothole that had formed from motor oil breaking down the asphalt over the years. That's what I get for going shopping in stores in the ghetto part of town. My foot rolled to the sideand then pulled behind my leg with all 230 pounds of my weight on it plus the seat. I went straight down and I could feel my ankle shred.
I spent 3 months on a couch, 3 months on a cane, and then had to have 3 injections in my spine to deal with the pain from walking all funky. 2006 sucked for me. They're going to be shrtening 2 tendons deep in my ankle plus moving the band of tendon that goes around my ankle up higher.
Yeah, I've got vicodin, but I've been taking 6-8 vicodin a day for the past 8 months, so it's like baby aspirin for me. They did give me Norco, which is double strength vicodin. I'm planning on staying pretty fucked up for a while.

Oh, well in that case can I interest you in some mexican red hair? Good luck with the recovery.
I feel your pain. I had my right foot almost torn off in a car acident I was in. I ripped all the tendons off and my foot ended up 180 degrees facing backwards. I have a nice 10 inch scar from the surgery to put my foot back in place. They actually had to shave part of the left side of my ankle to be able to rotate the foot. This was almost thirty years ago and I still walk with a limp if I stay standing for too long.
