Is there any way to stop bots from registering??! (The admin is asking the forum... wtf does that say?)

That says that the admin hasn't been paying attention to all the suggestions that people have been asking to be implemented for several months. The forum was under the impression that the admin just didn't give a shit.

I don't have ultimate control over the forum, just this section... all topics discussed were out of my control... I'm just starting to get annoyed by them, and wanted some opinions on the matter

You need to set the General Configuration so that the Admin enables the account activation, not the users. It's a pain because the admin has to enable all new accounts then, but it will keep the bots out. That is what I did for mine. I also left specific instructions for those that want to join, if they don't follow the instructions they can't join. :thumbleft:

I'm home 24/7. I can activate accounts right away.

Sure would like to. Convalescing from ankle reconstruction. Will be on crutches with right ankle cast for next 6-8 weeks.

I did get to go out for dinner and ice cream with my wife last night. First time I've been out since Feb 8. :whine:

That sounds familiar. Hydrocodone was my friend. If I recall though mine was for a much stupider reason than yours. : ]

Are those screws supposed to be there?

As far as the hydrocodone, I got the extra strength, baby. Twice the bang of vicodin with half of that liver destroying Tylenol. Chew them up, yum.
