hey coinage, were the "modified valve covers" an effort to provide more clearance for the rocker arms and all that?
I'm interested to know what all was in that Lot.

i dont know yet.. i just got a shipping invoice today.... $170 to ship everything.. ouch
dry sump stuff is worth it imo... ill let you know, though the im hoping the cover are for "big" rockers and hopefully they will clear

parts list-
-Tons of stock rocker studs
-17 intake/18 exhaust valves- new
-few double timing chains, one with 100 miles
-bearings
-assorted bolts, nuts...
-2 harmonic balancers, high performance? (anyone know tell the difference between an 88 and the early style??)
-lots of piston ring sets, stock size and .040 over
-modified pan for dry sump? early style pan
-8 steel valve covers, i am cutting 2 up so that they clear my rockers, taking them to my welder today or tomorrow

its metal that scrapes oil off the crank.
