Not exactly, there are also two links connecting to the top of the bell housing. They have heim joints on the ends, and you can see them come from 10 and 2 o'clock and cross over the exhaust manifold heat shields.
There is no reason you cant use the drive train as a structural component, it allows you to reduce weight while increasing strenght of the powertrain.
We rebuilt a tractor one time that was designed this way. It had a loader and backhoe attached and the owner split it in half. But that was from misuse. In fact most tractors are built this way.
