It is running. I just have never gotten around to hooking up any intake tubing to the tb's.
Basically I have been running around with no filters on for about oh 7 months now or more. Not really sure.
The placement of the tb's with my nothcback decklid makes fitting a aluminum tube very tight and very tight angles. I have test fit many hoses, and mandrel bent tubing. A flex hose would work good. While at home in "Iowa" I was going through some old parts, and I found an old 4 banger intake tube. Don't know how or where I got it but I had it, took a look at it and it appeared to look like it might work by eyeballing it. Brought it back down to Florida and it will work pefectly albeit not the free-est? flowing method.
I can then use the two to make it easier to get a filter hooked up to both tubes, and also to then have a place to mount my nozzles for my second stage of go go juice.

then from your guessing I can conclude two things. One, you are a bad guesser, and 2 you dont read what I write. Mine is an 87. yours is older. Cant believe it took gm 3 years to make a car specific intake tube, but it did.

Shaun, you can find the older Fiero intake hose you have in any junkyard. Thats the most common one you'll see. Just get your but down there and stuff one in your oversized pants. They wont charge you for it. They may look at you funny.
Why don't you just go to Home Depot and get some PCV pipe with a Y in it? It'll flow better because its smooootth and wont collapse at "high" RPM. I recall Stimpy or someone else with a 3800 telling me about the intake tubing collapsing and choking the motor at WOT. Though I guess with NOS you arent flowing more air then a stock 2.8.. so maybe that doesnt matter.
On the other hand.. blah blah blah blah blah blah...
blah blah blah..

And the one you posted the pic of, I think that is the one I thought was oval. Hmm. Maybe there were 3? 84, 84-86, 87-88? 84 was maybe more like stupid drier hose. The one I was thinking of for the older ones had tighter pleats and was flatenned into an oval / rounded rectangle. Though I could just be tripping. Anyway, the one in your pic isn't the 87-88 one, which is molded to clear the Isuzu shift cables and whatever else (see the flat spots in prototype-bolt-boss-breaker's (:afrocool:) pics? Sorry man too many #s in your name its easier this way.Shaun41178(2) wrote:sorry it took so long. Almost forgot about this. I still need one.
If you need more pics then I can get them. I would like matching tubes but as long as the lenght and the diameter are the same then I will be happy.
The one here looks round to me. You said one was like oval?
