fiero in new movie (stay alive)

Post by product1620 »

I just got back from the movie theater, I saw this movie called stay alive. It was an ok movie I guess, but the real kicker is that one of the main characters drove a fiero. Its was a red GT, with chrome wheels, a custom dash, and center consol subwolfer system. It was a pretty nice ride. I think I remember somthing about a guy looking for a fiero to be in a movie based in new orleans(which is where this takes place) last year. I wonder whos car it is. ohh well, I have to admit I was pretty stoked to see the fiero on the big screen! :thumbleft:

OMG NO WAY!!!!

Stay Alive? Is that some remake of A Bee Gees song? I can believe that riced out slow 4.9 swap fiero would be in that. Did the kickass rear diffuser make an appearance in it as well?

:ghey:

FYI I saw this car at the show today. It had the firebird dash. I will say it looked like absolute shit in there. Nothing fit well and it had some sort of plastic cover over it where the dash sits against the windshield incorrectly and the fiberglass cover was all cracked and bent to shit and the paint on it was horrible. It looked really really bad. I can see why so many people would want to do it that post on .nl.

Dont' do a firebird dash swap unless you want your interior to look like shit.

maybe so, but I couldn't really tell what the dash looked like, I just new the shape was not stock. However the exterior IMHO looked very good on screen. Oh, and nope, no diffuser.

I saw a Firebird dash swap in a guy's 97GT that also has a 3800SC when we had a meet in CO. Other than his whole car being a total hack job, I agree, the Firebird dash didn't fit well, didn't look good, and didn't even function well. The door panels were the worst IMO.

or do it right and have it fiberglassed and reupholstered. That would probably cost like $500 though, so I can see why nobody does it.

Ah, is some one jealous because your car is not good looking enough to be in a movie.

That car wasn't good looking enough either. He is in the right place at the right time. If you saw the dash and car up close you would understand what we are saying.

It has nothing to do with Jealousy. How is your uber build up going btw?

Man, the one you used to have was fucking sweet. That one would have been awesome in the movie instead of the ghetto-ized one. Did you submit your car for the casting call?

Or had you already driven it off of a mountain, wadded it into a ball, and set it on fire?
