Awesome. Yea if I had my 85 Gt still I would be able to do the same down here in FL. Only 2 more years for me I guess. At least I think FL is 20 years but it might be less I will have to look into it.

thing is with that type of insurance, I think you are only allowed to put X amount of miles on it per year. Thats the reason why its so much less to pay because they don't expect you to be drviing it so much.
FieroPhrek working on that ls4 swap for 20 years and counting now. 20 years!!!!! LOL

For Canadians:

You can get "antique" insurance for 250 a year with a valid appraisal. Appraisal cost about 200.

So if your car would appraise for 15,000 then its about 250 a year for full appraised value. Its only good for 5000kms or any milage associated with club meetings / shows / parades.

I want to get that for my 84, but everywhere I check, I have to be at least 25, only 3.5 more years.

In Texas it is 20 years. My Indy obviously qualifies, but I drive it too much to be able to do it. You can only put something like 3,000 miles a year on the vehicle. That is through State Farm, it may be different for other companies.

ct hasnt had inspections, or emissions for a few years during a system revamping. They basically went the route many other states went, and now you get emissions at a local garage. The program had some big flaws at first, so they shut it down, but its up and running strong now. No idea why they require an inspection every year, but I know maine does the same thing.
