Is this car worth it?

I am in the market for a nice fiero for around $5000. I like the 3.4dohc, and I like the wheels (I would switch it to a fastback and paint it black). Was this a properly done swap, and do you think the price is good for $4500? I am thinking about holding out and finding a lower miles 88 though. Any thoughts?

Looks like its in real good shape. Paint looks decent and the rims too. I don't know too much about his motor installation but the wiring must be right since Erik did it, and it doesnt look like there's anything wrong with it at a glance.
Here's what I don't understand:
Why does he have a pic of Fast88Fiero's 3.4 DOHC? Did Fast88Fiero sell his car to this guy?

If you're interested I'm getting ready to sell my 87 GT 350 conversion, it is black. It has a 350 with 4 barrel carb, very fast, 5 spd, ac sunroof and all other options except leather. Gets 24 mpg highway, 20 mpg city, if you drive it normal. It has custom embroidered seats out of mid 90 grand prix. Just about everything serviceable has been done in the past three years, I would take it across country if needed. I like it alot, but I didn't build it, and now I'm going to do one myself. If you send me an email I'll get you some pics and a write up on it this weekend.
edit: the car you're considering looks good too, i just like the fastback style better myself.

Buy my car with the swap already done. Spend your money on cosmetics and have a running, driving, street legal, California emissions ready 3800SC the day you pick it up. The chassis is a bit old (220,000 miles) but only 90,000 on the swap, you could easily plug and play the whole swap into a newer car if that is a problem for you.Formula wrote:I think Im going to find a low mileage gt and swap a 3800sc into it.
