I don't think the Fiero needs *more* air in front so much as it needs dramatically better management of the air it does get.

It would manage the air better. It would keep it from going under the car and send it over the car (and as a side effect, through the radiator and out the neccessary hood vent).

Besides, it looks better, okay?

I meant a bigger mouth as opposed to a stock sized mouth with the also necessary chin spoiler.

So you're saying it would be better off with the stock nose and the add-on chin spoiler, correct?

I was thinking that the decrease in airflow under the nose will decrease the airflow to the airdam, in turn decreasing the airflow to the radiator slightly (even more when the car is lowered a little bit). A wider mouth would make up for it. Of course that would introduce more pressure under the hood again, but that's why a nice sized inverted hood vent (not the tiny little add-ons usually available) is needed. That will cool the radiator a bit better. Maybe it wouldn't be needed, but we're building a track-ready street car here, not a trailer queen. :D
The rest of 'my' new chin spoiler will keep the rest of the unwanted air out, methinks (butdoesn'tknows).

Also keep in mind my water/air IC.

And then I changed my front shocks and noticed that the stock bottom 'lip' is actually part of the fascia, and my whole easy-to-do idea came crashing down. :banghead:
Stupid Newbies. :salute:

No wonder everyone makes add-on lips. So I'm guessing the one Kohburn posted installs right over top of the factory stuff, huh. Well that sucks.

[quote="donk_316"]Recently Shaun has found that the "chin spoiler" / lip whatever you wanna call it, is of piss poor quality...

Whos "chin spoiler are you reffering to?"
