They answer like that and then say things like "Thanks for your support in Iraq"? Good god that's more sad than scary. How much fox news DO you guys watch? (Yes, I know it might have been an unfair sample. But I get the feeling if you were do a large, large sample, there percentages would be... disturbing.. to say the least).

The people they edited in sure as hell were pretty stupid... but then again I can't say as though I know many of the answers to those questions either. Embarrassingly enough, I didn't know about the "U" thing until he said it either. OY!!

But one thing was in common with all of 'em... they weren't blatantly stupid, they just didn't know. Most other countries in the world are surrounded by other countries... so it's common knowledge to know other countries around the world just the same as we know our states (and even THAT'S a lot to remember IMO). Plus, being put on the spot like that, at random, is bound to switch a few brain cells off amongst all the nervousness...

But I do have to say... a huge part of the US population is just plain flat... well... :knob: .

If you can't answer questions like that, you shouldn't be giving your little support speech either.

What podunk southern town did they shoot that in? I know there's stupid people everywhere, but they could have at least got a respectable sample, its a pretty damn big country.

Not that it should be a surprise anymore, what with our education system ranking somewhere around dead last amongst 1st world nations.

Didn't I post that over at P-F-F? The worst part is that it isn't too hard to find people like that on the street, but who the fuck cares about which country begins with the letter U or what happens in the rest of the World, if it has no impact on the average Joe's life? Anyone ever watch Jay Leno when he asks people trivia questions on his show?

Yeah, that U questions stumped me... I wanted to say Uganda, but wasn't sure if it began with a U or a Y until I looked it up.

Other than that, all those questions were way to easy for no one to know them... keep feeding them their McDonalds, they'll die out soon enough

Yeah, I had a bunch of U's pop into my head, but thats not the question I'm talking about.. I was talking more about after that part when the same dumbasses went on thanking for support and stuff, while blatently not even knowing support for what.

The funniest thing is that the video wasn't shot in the US. It is all in Australia. If you look at the buildings in the background you can see the name Fungrys on a sign with an arrow and the distance of 50m. If you google Fungrys it comes up with the CNNN Website which is based out of australia.

Even funnier now that you know that is the fact that when they are asking people who they think should be invaded next they say Iran or North Korea and then put the little flag on a small little continent that is labeled such but is actually Australia.

The sad thing is that the people in this country aren't much better. If anyone else has ever seen the "game" show called "Street Smarts" you will know what I am talking about.
