Okay, maybe I should put it in terms you can better understand.
Dude, you shouldn't drive your car all the time in 1st gear.
"I don't really care."
edit: And why in the hell should I be the only one caring about this forum's well-being?

What is all this fucking trouble about a 5-second fix? Christ, if people like you ran the world, we'd still be grunting over sticks trying to figure out how to make fire...
edit: No, wait. We'd still be trying to get sticks but you'd be saying "ugh need no sticks!". Instead we'd just be jacking off in the bushes all fucking day long because it's all the entertainment you cared for.

Well, that's a better reply than I was expecting, at least. :thumbleft:
Sorry if I seem to be coming off a little abrasive here. I just can't comprehend why it's such a major hassle to make a minor change that is for the better of the site. It's cuz I'm black ain't it?

There's a time in my life where I would have taken the bait. That time is in the past.
Maybe there's a reason why I allow unregistered users to post in that section and in my opinion, it outweighs the fact that the spammers can more easily hit it.

Why is it such a magor hassle for you that he's NOT making a "minor change" or "5 second fix"?Falcon4 wrote:Well, that's a better reply than I was expecting, at least. :thumbleft:

If it's a 5 second fix, it can't be that important, can it?
Then perhaps my suggestion would be to out and out delete the spam instead of letting them get away with promoting their website through such blatant forum spamming? We try to run a community here, not a spam repository... right?
You know, stuff like this is probably pathetically trivial to a lot of people, but my life's slogan is "something worth doing is something worth doing right". I'd never put out something that I didn't think is my best work, and I try to give the same back to people I think could use the help as well. So I'm sorry if I come off as a picky, irritating little bastard. The little details make the bigger picture better...
edit: A 5 second fix is the difference between driving in 1st and driving in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th (if that much).

Fuck you... you haven't said a single civil thing in the whole time I've seen you around. Maybe you're the one that should leave.scrabblegod wrote:Ok, I am ready to trade this guy for Aaron back.

So, whatever. I can't possibly imagine intentionally ignoring advice. If one of your users says something can be done better, who's the forum serving? You? Hell, that site I spam all over the place, Hostfile, is as awesome as it is today because I took everyone's suggestions and listened to them. The whole direction this topic took is a tribute to the hopeless state of e-human nature. :puke:

I could come up with yet another smart analogy here, yet I'm sure it wouldn't make a damn bit of difference. At any rate, I presented facts that (probably) weren't known before and my suggestion still goes blissfully ignored (in a cloud of "i don't care"ism). You know, there are reasons I present these ideas, and not a one of them has anything to do with myself...
