Just curious... I usualy shoot like 8BPS so i dont know if it would work for me or not. especialy when hen i get pissed, i do around 15BPS.
worked great this weekend.
the loader can feed up to 34bps -- i never had one chopped ball with it on full auto. I like to conserve paint most of the time so i'll usually not bother firing more than 3bps.. but if someone makes a mad dash infront of my i'll light em up.

you can use a force feed ball loader - or get an ungrade electronic trigger board that uses an infrared trip sensor to only fire when a ball is fully into the chamber
bah, speedball
woodsball and scenarios is where its at. no need for super spray ability there unless you are a heavy gunner laying suppression fire.
if I can save up the money from side work then I want to get dual tiberius pistols. uses 12gram CO2 in each 8 round clip. the ultimate in light weight paintball gear.
I know nothing about paintball, but I can't wait to learn!
first thing you need to learn is how to change the valve on your spyder. Its located behind that shiney useless piece of garbage under the barrel known as an "expansion chamber" I used to play against a kid with a spyder. Hurt like hell when he threw the parts at you cause the gun wasnt working.

I laugh all the time when i hear crap like this from people that never owned one. spyders are one of the easiest possible guns to take apart and put back together in about 2 minutes. been using spyders for 7 years no problems, keep em oiled, run high pressure air or a low pressure regulator and expansion champer on CO2 and the o-rings will last a lot longer.
as for expansion chambers useless? its expanding gas. the expansion chambers make the gun more efficient with CO2 by minimizing any chance of firing liquid and maximizing the expansion of the gas by helping to warm up the gas. just look at the physics. if your buddy had problems then either he had a lemon or he didn't know squat about how to maintain a marker.
I owned 4 total. Used them for letting others play. See the nitro tank in his picture, that renders the expanison chamber useless, the front grip ones are even worse as they get your hands shot up. An anti siphon tank is all you ever need. The valves tolerances are not (were not 5 years ago) anything to brag about, and were a deffinate failure point on the guns.
yes that gun has an HPA tank - but most likely it didn't start like that so have fun removing it and finding a plug for it.. its pressance doesn't harm the performance of HPA at all so leave it.
as for the fore-grip, that one isn't an expansion chamber just a gas through grip... I've never been shot in the left hand that hold the fore-grip. I preffer it for stability and manueverability. maybe you don't but that doesn't make it wrong.
you sound like the v8archie of the paintball world :la:
there are a few simple things to do to a spyder to make it last longer and be more reliable, and one is to take a rouge cotton wheel to the internals to polish them. also add a drop or two of oil to the internals after every game day.
