I made my own out of steel, but I guess you could also use aluminum.

Yup, and they tailor it to the specific application for the post holes, i.e. an Optima has different side post loacations than a run-of-the-mill Sears battery, just gotta let them know.
Chris actually had all the AL bent up and ready to weld for about 10 boxes on his arbor table about a week ago so there might be a batch ready to go.
Also, you can get them CF'ed now ( overlay on AL ) for that extra special Fiero of yours
