LSD, anyone know where I can find a good one?
Im lookin for a LSD for my 282 5 speed, a good one not the ones that are springs and washers like on ebay. Ive heard of people having Gleason Torsen which are worm gears But I cant find one for sale. Even Gleason Torsen website dosent list any fwd trans. anyone??? :scratch:

Good luck finding one. There probably weren't 100 of those diffs ever made.
Aside from that, the EP limited slip is probably the best bet. It uses springs and plates in the diff, but the carrier & gears are machined to install bronze friction surfaces between the gears and carrier.

I haven't driven one, but I've installed one and it looked much better than the Gr8 grip I've seen.

I had one of those for a while. I sold it because I didn't want to destroy it. That was after I'd found out that Team Python had blown up a Torsen after two seasons of AutoX & road racing with a 4.9 powered car.
The unit has a very high torque bias ratio that's suited to FWD cars also.

Not only is mantapart slow in shipping parts, they are also terrible at updating their website. They havent had one of those in 5 years or more.
