Re: Post your current stable of cars and toys!
The most interesting things on this thread aren't fiero's.. That 80cc pedal bike and the vespa's are wicked. 65, 10.5:1 comp, cam headers, ported heads, deflashed...everything you can do within reason.. motor built by my pops http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c379/Jmccreery/944604_10153115621085501_...

Re: Track Days in the DOHC Fiero
Buddy of mine likes his rivals better then RS3's on his E46 M3, I dunno... RS3's have a lower tread wear rating... My dad runs Nitto NT01's on his 997S but they get greasy when too hot

Re: Track Days in the DOHC Fiero
A good way to tell yuo have overheated or have worn out Hankooks is look for the Blue tinge. I had several sets on My S197 (285/35/18 all around) and if you cooked them they always turned a slight shade of blue... Best tire out there IMHO. Still miss this car... Re: My kingdom for a cradle
Don't really care about the year, just want a nice car to cruise in, not going to autocross it. Other things I need are original Tan seats (fixed back seats in a street car are dumb) and original tan / brown carpet... I have the black aftermarket and my god it sucks. I have 88 brown/tan/beechwood c...

My kingdom for a cradle
I have been looking all over for an engine cradle so I can get my car back on the road with no luck.. Fiero factory wants a mint for one, and ontario fiero clubs are all but dead.
Any ideas?

Re: This looks tasty
I am looking more for balance then a brutally fast car... I just sold my very well setup (ESP) mustang.. It had everything Sam strano could sell me for it.. The car was perfectly balanced for the HP it had and the 285 RS'3s. I could easily outpace 2 well driven Elises, c5 Z06's etc at our local trac...

I may or may not have a stevenson 520 Pump. I may or may not have gotten it when an EX's mom found it in the attic of her house
I also have a bandsaw
You can add it up.

Re: I'm fixing my turd
I sold my harness and ECM years ago. I wasn't kidding when I said I took the old N* to the wreckers a few days ago.. I do still have the flywheel.
The only way I would ever do that swap again is with a much newer N* with low miles.

Re: I'm fixing my turd
I should probably clarify that my deep hatred towards wiring is more to the holley commander CHRFab setup I had. I got the car running within a few hours of install.. It was the paint by numbers interface that sucked absolute anus. I don't "hate" wiring.. I hated what I had.. the being sai...
