Got my poor running issue figured out today. The ECU had the capacitors leak in it(big supprise there) and they ruined the board. Ordered a good used one. I also got some magnicore wires and a boost gauge. Within the next couple weeks I'm getting a EVO 3 O2 housing, 3" down pipe, 3" exhaust, hard charge pipes and a GM MAF. I'm replacing the timing belt, removing the ballance shafts and replacing the damaged oil pan this week. Hope to be driving it by this weekend.

God damn dude. I dont' want to talk smack but I bet after that is all done it will outrun your 4.9.

This is why I love DSM's. Little money to make them fast.

Just make sure you dont' lean it out. The stock injectors cant' supply enough fuel for the 16g unless you keep the boost low.
FieroPhrek working on that ls4 swap for 20 years and counting now. 20 years!!!!! LOL

BEWARE OF BEN PHELPS AND WOT-TECH MOTORSPORTS. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. WORSE THAN MILZY IMO

Oh yeah, it will defenatly be faster than the Fiero. :thumbleft: I forgot to add some 550cc injectors to my list. I'll be getting those soon. :la:

Installed the ECU today. Runs awesome now. I got home from work and my autometer boost gauge, Magnacore plug wires and drivers door handle (to replace the broken one on car) were here. Putting those parts on tomorrow. I have to replace the timing belt this weekend. I'm gonna start driving the car every day now. Need to get an exhaust and some charge pipes for it. :la:

My budy owns a second gen that has the motor built and a large t3/t4 on her. He is part of a local forum in Salt Lakec city Utah, it is at
utdsm.org
Lost of fast cars on there and they could give you a lot of ideas on how to clean her up.

I have heard of filling your old motormounts with some kind of silicone to help the motor stay put and it is fairly cheep and easy mod that cost less that new ones

Concur.
Epoxy filled engine mounts are the result of some good old fashioned backyard engineering DSM style, j0!

I think I would just buy good mounts if I need to. Spending money is my favorite hobby, other than going fast.

Washed and waxed it today. Put a little over 100 miles on it this weekend. It sure is fun to drive. Only boosting to about 12psi, but I'm picking up my TurboXS dual stage boost controller tonight. :thumbleft: Here are some pictures of the $400 beast!

Installed the boost controller today. It's a TurboXS dual stage. Daily driver stage will be around 13psi and track will be 18psi for now. I turned it the wrong way when adjusting the boost earlier and saw 22psi! OOPS! I've got it set correctly now. Still waiting on my damn 3" exhaust. I guess I should order my injectors and my GM MAF and maf translator. I'm gonna need them. :D
